01
The problem we all share

We learn how to recite the Qur'an. Almost none of us learn what it says.

So we recite it daily, beautifully — and the meaning stays just out of reach. We reach for the translation, feel the distance, and quietly make peace with it. Years pass, and the Book we love most stays closed to us in its own words.

And it isn't for lack of trying.

02
Why most attempts stall

Every attempt left the same gap.

Each of these does one part of the job. On its own, none does enough to keep you going.

An app

Teaches you a language, not the Qur’an — and the streak fades the week life gets busy.

A textbook

All the grammar, no one to ask and nothing to hold you to it. Most stall by chapter three.

A weekly class

One hour a week, then six days of forgetting. Miss two and you’re already behind.

Flashcards

A deck you have to build and maintain — until the backlog turns into guilt.

Not another one of these. ATTQ is all of them, working as one.

03
The transformation

Where you are, and where you'll be

Today

After 40 lessons

The Qur’an sounds beautiful but stays silent
You hear it speak, and you understand it
Reaching for the translation every time
Reading the Arabic and following it directly
Lost the moment the vowel marks disappear
Reading bare Arabic script with confidence
Standing in prayer, mind elsewhere
Present in prayer, moved by words you now grasp
Never formed an Arabic sentence
Holding a simple conversation out loud

The same curriculum that brought 800+ students to the Qur'an — rebuilt on our own platform, at your own pace, with the community intact.

How the programme works

Five skills, integrated into one system.

Five core skills, side by side across all 40 lessons, building your Arabic step by step. Tap any to see it in full.

The programme is loaded with the Qur'an's key high-frequency words, drip-fed to you across the 40 lessons. You never sit and memorise. They are managed for you, met in context, and mastered as you go.

  • Spaced repetition, built in

Every word returns right before you'd forget it. No cramming, no schedule to keep.

  • Indexed to Hans Wehr

Not generic translations — full word breakdowns from the world-famous dictionary.

  • A Mushaf that fills in

See the words you've unlocked light up in the Qur'an, and the percentage you can now read.

  • Your Word Bank

Daily drills in manageable loads, so vocab sticks without the overwhelm.

Built to keep you going

Every reason people quit, engineered out

Forgetting, invisible progress, drowning in real texts, broken flow, going it alone — every reason learners give up, and how the platform removes each one.

The forgetting problem

You may forget. The system won't.

Spaced repetition brings each word back right before it fades — no deck to build, no cramming, no schedule to keep.

Invisible progress

Progress you can finally see.

Every word you master lights up in the Mushaf, and a live percentage tells you exactly how much of the Qur'an you can now read.

The deep end

Real Arabic, without drowning in it.

Full support on day one — audio, translation, vowels — then peel each layer back as you're ready, until you're reading bare script alone.

Broken flow

Look up a word without leaving the Book.

The Hans Wehr dictionary is wired into the text — one tap opens the full entry, its root and family, right beside the ayah.

Going it alone

A tutor that actually knows you.

Grounded in your course and your progress — it knows your Word Bank and the words you keep slipping on, one tap inside any lesson.

The only Arabic programme you'll ever need

Every skill, every resource, every tool — engineered to work together and take you from your first word to reading the Qur'an with understanding. Nothing else to buy, no gaps to fill.

Inside a single lesson

One lesson, five skills, working together

Each skill builds on the last, so your access to the Qur'an grows a little every lesson.

1

New words

Vocabulary

This lesson's key words unlock into your Word Bank, ready to meet everywhere else.

2

A new structure

Qur'anic Arabic

Learn it through the Qur'an itself, modelled in real verses, word by word.

3

Read it in a story

Reading

Meet those same words and structures on the page. Look up and save any word in a tap.

4

Hear it spoken

Listening

An episode of real Arabic trains your ear on what you've just learnt.

5

Say it yourself

Speaking

Practise the lesson's language out loud with the built-in speaking activity.

Around four hours a lesson, self-paced. Five skills, one connected loop, repeated forty times.

Real journeys into the Qur'an

By week 2/3, it hit me that I have missed out a lot by just reading translations, which physically can't capture the detail and purpose of every word/harakat.

I've tried to learn the Arabic language many times before in other ways but nothing compares to how systematic and thorough this course is. It's been an enlightening journey so far Alhamdulillah.

Questions

Before you start

You need to be able to read Qur'anic script, that's it. No grammar background and no tajweed requirement. Lesson 1 begins from the very first building block, and everything is built one structure at a time.

Around four hours per lesson, in short pieces across the five skills, plus a ten-minute daily review. Self-paced, so spread it however suits you.

No cramming, ever. Words are fed to you as you study, learnt in context, and our spaced-repetition system reviews each one at the optimal interval so you never forget it. Memorising is handled for you — your job is simply to show up for a short daily review.

Fully self-paced — start anytime and learn at your own rhythm. And you're never learning alone: we run free events for our student community throughout the year, in person in London or online.

You learn the high-frequency words that make up around 80% of the Qur'an, plus the structures to read them in context. You'll recognise and follow most of what you read, with the dictionary and Mushaf built in for the rest.

Yes. You work through the complete Bayna Yadayk Book 1, and the built-in speaking activity lets you practise everyday conversations as often as you like. By the end you'll hold simple day-to-day conversations.

No written coursework. Every hour goes to the skills that open the Qur'an — reading, listening, and speaking — with progress checked through interactive exercises instead.

Near the end of the programme, a placement assessment guides you on your readiness for Year 2, so your journey into the Qur'an continues on the right footing rather than stopping at the finish line.

Open the Qur’an, and feel it speak to you

Forty lessons. Five skills. One Book, finally opening.

هَٰذَا كِتَابُنَا يَنطِقُ عَلَيْكُم بِالْحَقِّ
