Al-Ajrumiyyah
One of the most celebrated classical texts on Arabic grammar (Nahw), studied systematically throughout the year. Step-by-step study of this timeless treatise establishes the grammatical foundation that underpins every other module and your long-term Arabic journey.

Weekly Live Classes
Two-hour interactive sessions every Monday covering practical application — speaking, reading, and I’rab — with breakout rooms, group exercises, and instructor-led practice. 44 sessions across the year.
Student Portal & Prep
Pre-class materials released weekly — videos, notes, vocabulary, quizzes, and activities — so you arrive prepared. Daily and weekly tasks maintain consistent momentum between sessions.
AI Tutor Support
Built into the portal, our AI tutor provides course-aware support grounded in what you are actually studying. Monthly messages included with your enrolment, with optional top-ups when you need more.
Seminars & Guest Scholars
Throughout the year, students attend seminars and webinars with guest scholars exploring advanced topics in Quranic Arabic, tafsir, and Islamic studies.

Entry Requirements
Year 2 is designed for ATTQ Year 1 graduates, and is also open to external students with an equivalent intermediate foundation in Quranic Arabic.
You should have a solid understanding of introductory Arabic grammar, familiarity with Quranic vocabulary, and the ability to comprehend basic Arabic sentences.
Upon enrolment, you will:
- Sit a placement assessment to confirm your level
- Be placed in either a beginner or intermediate stream
- Receive personalised guidance before the programme begins

Ustadh Mohammed Tahair
Teacher · Arabic & Quranic Studies
Ustadh Mohammed Tahair is a teacher of Arabic and Quranic studies, and the founder of QuranBound. He has been involved in teaching and community work for over a decade.
He spent more than five years studying the traditional Islamic sciences in Cairo, Egypt, under the supervision of senior scholars. He holds Ijazaat in the seven modes of recitation from Sh. Ali Abdul-Tawwab and Sh. Ahmed Al-Ashoor (Al-Azhar), and formally studied the Arabic language and its sciences with Ustadh Emad al-Adawy, Ustadh Mahmud Sha’baan, Ustadh Mohammed Kuraim, and Ustadh Amir Mas’ud, among others.
He served as Head of Arabic at an independent private school, where he designed and delivered their entire Arabic syllabus from the ground up. The ATTQ Programme has been taught successfully to more than 500 students over the past five years.
Beyond the classroom, Ustadh Mohammed is a respected community leader and activist. Since 2010, he has been deeply involved in grassroots development for young Muslims — delivering a wide range of projects designed to uplift, educate, and empower young people across the country.

Frequently Asked Questions
Year 2 is designed for ATTQ Year 1 graduates, but it is also open to external students with an equivalent intermediate level. You will sit a placement assessment upon enrolment to confirm the right stream for you.
All live sessions are recorded and made available through the student portal, so you can catch up at your own pace. We encourage attendance for the full benefit of the programme, but life happens.
Expect to commit 7–10 hours per week — this includes the Monday live class, portal tasks, independent reading and listening practice, and vocabulary review. This programme is best suited for motivated, self-disciplined students.
The trip abroad is optional and priced separately from the programme fee. Full details — including dates, itinerary, and cost — will be shared with enrolled students.
The AI tutor is built into the student portal and provides support grounded in your actual course material — not generic answers. A monthly message allowance is included with your enrolment. You can purchase optional top-ups if you need more support in a given month.
